Well ive only just got back in the house after a freak gust of wind banged the door shut !!! No outside light on so couldnt see the key fob to get the spare out, then i managed to squeeze 1% of my phone battery i had left to just about manage to open it!! My bloody partner was again on his pc steam game doing a recording with neadphones on so didnt here me ringing doorbell, banging on window or even waving like a mad woman at the cctv cam!!! Then all i could hear when i came in was sorry, sorry, sorry...not to me, to the people he was knocking over in his game...completely clueless that ive been outside for the past 10 minutes!!

It was snowing a bit i believe with that weird wind thing that came through.

Sorry for the food / drink craic. Getting back to weather.

I have a feeling you guys will do well next 24 hours with the expected flow.

We usually do quite well out of this type of set up in N/W Leeds so fingers crossed.

Looks like there is a mass of very heavy precipitation that is heading for Manchester. Are there any thunder and lightning reports from Wigan and the west side of the city?

That shower was a direct hit! Lovely fluffy flakes and it started to stick.

Another short sharp shower of hail gone through. I'm feeling positive about the next couple of days, whatever happens I think this will be the last hurrah before I switch to spring mode lol.

Nothing here apart from wanting yellow f150 of top gear ......attachicon.gifimage.jpg nice ......

Yeah it looked awesome. All that snow, too. Kinda annoyed now that yet another early/mid March seems to be a write off for snow, other than maybe for some over the next few days, due to another bloody high pressure system - sod off, come back in April!

A second snowy Sunday on the trot and came as a major surprise. Rain turned sleety at 50 metres and wet snow at and above 100 metres, heavy for a good hour giving a temporary wet cover on grass, cars - usual surfaces, thicker stuff at 150 metres.

A cold March day.

We've had a few heavy hail showers this evening. Current temp 2.9 degrees. Won't be surprised to see more snow tomorrow from another similar features.
