There's a large cell incoming to Lancashire ...

good chance the sea always seems to pep things up after dark ..

The problem is that unlike this morning, the wind will have a slight southwesterly element which almost always keeps Manchester dry under such set ups.

The wind will turn more westerly again tomorrow and then northwesterly which is better for me.

Welsh mountains seem to kill it for manchester on that wind vector , tomorrow should favour me too:)...

Been a very wintry feeling day, frequent hail & snow showers giving a covering at times which quickly melted. Dried up this afternoon with less showers but remaining very cold in the wind, currently 3.9c.

March Summary: One more night of good snow potential and then its a lull for a few weeks. Maybe the models showing spring on the way, I couldn't rule out a odd cold snap though.

Feels like snow, looks like there might be something vaguely organised overnight for the region. Nice way to end winter I think, looks very spring like after that.

Been at Sellafield all day and had about 1 hour of mainly light soft hail/snow, mainly hail and didn't lay. Apparently Egremont had a dusting which melted very quickly, I think Carlisle got quite a bit.
