Just rain showers this morning.

If you look at the upper air temperatures, this cold spell should have produced a lot more wintriness but unfortunately we are paying the price of the warmer seas, moderating the polar maritime air.

interesting very end, seemed to lose the NW wind, perhaps the sign of the Spring weather arriving, seemed to turn to SW

Clouded over tonight so that'll keep the temps up, currently 6.3c. Apart from a bit of wind on Saturday nothing much to discuss!! Is winter dead and buried??  'What winter' I hear you say! LOL

Morning guys,

 

Well I see the models are still on drugs and trying to give us a late late Winter finish in FI. God you have to laugh, they have been desperately trying all Winter to give us all what we want in here... 10/10 for trying 1/10 for reality!

Just been for a walk on the beach with the dogs, still feels cold in the wind which is getting quite strong now.

Weve been to liverpool and back this morning to see the surgeon at alderhey. Its been 9c all the way there and back, well 10c when we hit leyland coming back. A very dull day weatherwise, coldish when we got out at the hospital, but it was really warm in the car, no heating on at all but warm air we had to put the air con on!! Lol very dry day.

Just checked the BBC and finally North America is warming up by next week. This is the last chance to see cold before end of March/April. :)

 

Just need a jet stream to dig south. I don't think it will anytime soon though. :(

Not been in here for a few days due to a family bereavment but after reading a few recent posts, I must admit to being firmly in the wishing for warmer weather camp.

Had enough of these almost but not quite wintry conditions.
