Beautiful sunny day from dawn till dusk! Not warm though with a max of 8.3c, currently 4.1c. Tomorrow back to windy conditions with some rain... Looks like high pressure will begin to exert it's influence at the weekend so hopefully some decent spring weather on offer although I expect it'll still be cold at night under any clear skies. Hints of a Greeny high as well!!  Not a terrible outlook.

A lovely day here, bright morning giving way to blue skies more generally and wall to wall sunshine with little wind. Despite average max temps under the sun it felt very pleasant. A wonderful late afternoon descent into nightfall, perfect visibility and temps have dropped like a stone. Currently sitting at 1 degrees, likely to be below 0 in an hour or so, so another air frost.

Another lovely evening here, not quite as clear or cool as last night but fine all the same. Current temp 1.6 degrees, so unlikely to see an air frost as cloud is forecast to encroach through the night but we might just about get close to freezing around midnight.

 

The day though has been miserable a carbon copy of Monday's rain fest. Tomorrow and Friday look equally gloomy and wet. You can put up with days like today just about in mid summer - as you have enough hours of daylight left to make up for the hours of rain, but until the clocks go forward a couple of sunny clear hours at the end of the day doesn't cut the mustard.
