Not been in here for a few days due to a family bereavment but after reading a few recent posts, I must admit to being firmly in the wishing for warmer weather camp.

Had enough of these almost but not quite wintry conditions.

Yes me too with the warming up camp, want to go to the beach!

Well into double figures for weekend ,that I'll be interesting :).....

Get some sun with it and it's going to feel very nice indeed but given our default setting of cloud and drizzle it's probably going be a case of a thinner jacket for a couple of days.

At least we're heading in the right direction though and even if the weather doesn't play ball, lighter nights are coming.

Yes me too with the warming up camp, want to go to the beach!

Thanks, sort of expected but still a tough few days.

And the beach sounds nice, just a shame it's an hours drive from here or I might have tried St Annes and fish and chips this weekend.

Lets hope a bit of sun this weekend will make things a little brighter for you.

 

I need to muck out the other chicken stable and refused to do it in that vile weather on Monday which is what I had planned to do on my day off - I lead such an exciting life - lets hope this is the start of spring !

A better day temperature wise and with light winds it felt quite pleasant despite grey leaden skies.

 

The next few days do look like being a cloud fest with drizzle or general outbreaks of rain. South westerly airstreams a curse for Cumbria especially coastal and southern areas exposed to the winds. A miserable airstream any time of year...

A beautiful day here, sunny but the wind is a bit cool and breezy. Got my windows and doors open,

washing out on the line.......... first time I've been able to that in ages

It got upto 13C today with some very lengthy sunny intervals. Despite it being dairly breezy, it certainly felt like spring. Let's just hope that winter doesn't come back with vengeance...

Been a lovely spring like sunny and warm day, first grass cut since nov last year! Had all the windows open, went cool when the wind got up this afternoon. Quite mild tonight with a misty moon.

Nice and bright morning although a cool start but at least it was fit to wash the car, something I've been trying to do for a couple of weeks now.

Now that lighter nights are coming, outside jobs aren't dependent on two dry days at weekend.

The charts STILL have my attention JUST about as they are still trying to predict one last cold spell in around a weeks time! So not quite going into summer hibernation just yet. Snowy Easter anyone???
