So 37c or so could be achieved by 5pm then! Clear blue here in London again.

Being greedy, makes me wonder if we had clear blue from dawn till dusk and Heathrow at 34c at 11am could we havecbroken the all time recordcof 38.1c

Despite that it's the hottest July day ever this is a sizeable feat

.My punt between 36-37C appears successful it may even go higher.

I remember that Sunday of the record temp in 2003 and the afternoon clouded over, I'd been at work all day so hadn't experienced that heat. Today I was able to head out for lunch, just phenomenal temps, reminded me of a Sydney summer's day!

Onshore breeze heavily moderated the hot air? In centre of London it is scorching.

Hats off to the Navgem

indeed,a lot of mocking in the past week on the MOD thread that 'dear old Navgem' was overcooking temperatures, while GFS was wheeled out as gospel amongst SOME members, not all.

Yeah... It's a record breaker 😆 ... however I'm slightly grumpy due to the fact I have not been able to sleep today after coming home from my night shift this morning... even worse I'm back at work 21:00 tonight till 07:30 tomorrow... I'm gonna be sooo tired in the morning ...lol

Well we have the heat where's the Thunderstorms a drenching would suffice :D
