Well we have a few wet cms here this morning. For those that are abit dispondand this morning I wouldn't be as tomorrow night looks a lot more favourable with heavy snow lasting into Friday if things go to plan of coarse lol.

Rain this morning. Had about 5 seconds of it with wet snow mixed in then back to complete rain. I know the hopes are on tomorrow night but the way our luck is going, it'll be another damp squib...:angry:

Very dark here now in Keighley with moderate wet snow beginning to fall.

The BBC forecast last night showed snow for here today. They are showing rain for tomorrow/Friday, let's hope they are equally as wrong.

Why is it so difficult to have snow. Decent snow. 

Oh well me paddying won't change my snowless morning haha. 

Nice to see some of you have had some though. Fingers crossed for thur/Fri :)

HEAVY SNOW here.

Had to walk the kids to school in it, in the 15-20 minutes walking there and back had 3cm's of lying snow and its still coming. Was rain around 7:30 as well, bit of a bizarre morning.

Heavy snow here! 

Quite a turnaround. Heavy rain and 3 degrees at 7:30 by 9 it's just above 0 and heavy snow!

Precip looks a tad further north to me to what was shown last night.What's everyone's thoughts on Thurs night/Fri and wkend?

Surely our best chance of the winter?

Thursday night into Friday is looking good at moment but we know that can change at least seen a few cms this morning.

Just had thunder snow, it was a massive flash and bang!! It's coming down heavily too but very wet.

Annoyingly it looks like Huddersfield has been too far south to benefit due to the w-e movement for the most part, this bit we are finally getting now (thunder too) probably won't last too long. 

Tomorrow is looking epic though in terms of forecast intensity.

Good to see it snowing now at any rate.

Current scene near Harlow Carr Harrogate. Been snowing constantly for about 2 hours, getting lighter now and sky brightening
