Estofex.org is looking pretty interesting for C Europe tomorrow. I’ll probably be a bit too far south in Wiesbaden for the more extreme stuff but may be worth keeping an eye…

Right now there's a storm heading in the direction of Wiesbaden (from the WSW) which is growing rapidly and seems to have a distinctly supercell-like structure, looking at the satellite imagery. Almost looks like it would contain a hook echo...

Not sure if this is the same storm but a good sized wedge

That looks like a pretty decent size tornado! Perhaps a good few hundred metres wide, certainly in the first video! Possibly a medium/high end f2 looking at it and looking at the radar velocities!

Had a pretty intense storm move through last night. One minute it's calm, the next it's bucketing down with strong winds.

I managed to take this still:

Issued: Sun 19 Jun 2022 17:05
Forecaster: PUCIK

*** Severe weather threat increasing over the area ***

Satellite and lightning data confirm increasing number and intensity of storms over the highlighted area in the past hour. This is caused by an increase in warm air advection over the frontal zone, which is characterized by strong temperature gradient and very strong flow at the mid to upper troposphere. Both Greifswald and Leba 12 UTC soundings show presence of abundant MUCAPE with strong shear even above the stable layer. 12 UTC Lindenberg sounding shows rather dry environment along with strong mean flow of 20 m/s. Dewpoints between 16 and 21 deg C are observed along the front and this is where the MLCAPE values are maximized.

So far the strongest storms are observed over Kaliningrad area and these are forecast to move into Lithuania with threat of large hail and possibly also severe wind gusts. Of even bigger concern may be the storms over W Poland, which are moving into the environment of higher low-level moisture and airmass containing substantial MLCAPE. If the storms manage to become surface-based, severe wind gust threat may rapidly increase and this possiblity needs to be monitored closely.

An incredible week of storms here in Haute Vienne. A supercell on Sunday evening which gave golf ball sized hail and storms of lesser magnitude every day after. Sunday's storm was not as damaging as those that some places have had this week but we have many dents in the car, some chipped roof slates and we lost quite a lot of pears and apples. Thankfully the greenhouse is plastic and just got some pockmarks in the roof. Sunday's storm has been a talking point in the village, as we are usually quite protected here, and many of the older folks say they have never seen anything like it before...
