I loved Zadar, shame Sleazyjet failed to bring our luggage though, so we couldn't actually go anywhere in case the airport phoned to say it was being couriered. Missed out on trips to Pag, the Plitvice Lakes etc., some 60th birthday holiday that was...not.  Will have to go back at some point to make up for it!

No car but stuff driving in that. Hotel opposite got hit as I watched! Some bang I tell you 😂

I was in the major storm that hit Menorca on Sunday Morning 25th Sept (Date is wrng on the imgur link)

i was lucky /unlucky to be caught in the biggest storm ive ever witnessed early hours of Sunday morning on Menorca. Having witnessed an afternoon of storms all evening at an arms distance (north coast of Majorca mainly)

We had a direct hit, flashes of lightning were in the region of 3 strikes per SECOND. Hail the size of sprouts, (Others reported larger) and 100kph winds. It was like godzilla was about to arrive. The next day there was no electricity in the resort, and debree was strewn far and wide. The pools were full of debris for days after, we never got to use them as they were brown and full of sludge and furniture.

It was clear from a run I did later in the day that the roads had been like rivers over 1ft deep with residue marks on cars and buildings.

Confirmation of the tornado lasting 206 KM, for comparison that's only about 60KM less than the Mayfield EF4 travelled.
