Not every year you see storms impacting the Canary Islands so late in the spring. There is usually little to no rain in the eastern Canary Islands between around mid April to Mid October.

Thunderstorms possible on SE Finland next week on Monday and Tuesday. First time I could actually hear/see lightning this year. All the other ones went to NW or NE.

Looking on FR24 and I was wondering why 2x Madeira flights were being the most tracked, turns out that Storm Oscar is causing quite the holiday headache in Madeira, Canary Isles, and Portugal/Spain later on in the week. Live Cam by 'Madeira Spotter' suggests the airfield is now closed to all in+outbounds until conditions improve.

Level 3 ESTOFEX risk here we go.

Oh and go on then, my own risk map as well. It was very borderline for me going for my significant risk level but there were issues with areas still when I looked at it.
