Well worth watching any of these youtube feeds, wind it back to when the gust front comes in!! Some big hail in there too

Big storm has woken me up this morning 

definite shifts in direction at different levels in the cloud.

There was a lot of lightning earlier but this seems to moved over me now.

The storm that passed through here a few hours ago was epic - never experienced severity like that in the U.K.

As it approached there were good deep rumbles every few seconds but once it got on top of us things went mental. 
 

Strobing lightning with dozens of positive strikes that sounded like literal bombs going off and shaking the van. Absolutely torrential sideways rain which kept changing direction and enough wind to bring down trees. The power is still out now.

Was quite scary at points not going to lie!

Yes they make our storms seem quite tame by comparison. Looking at sat 24 now still some massive storms over se France ...probably would cover at least all southern/central England...

An amazing night in Marseille a couple nights ago, intense storms with prolific lightning, with so many CG's. Was watching it in awe on the webcam.

I'm currently on holiday in Santa Margherita Ligure, near Genoa and had this storm system go over this morning. Loads of lightning but mostly in cloud, and constant rumbling. Crazy winds and very heavy rain at times! Went on for a good couple of hours overall. In a red Meteoalarm zone for this evening too with severe storms predicted later. Remaining hopeful to watch them from the balcony after dinner!
