Euro4 is very good for scootland aside for the NE blow up the mountains! expect blizzard like conditions to low levels, quite considerable depths with elevation, real risk of avalanches once this cold blip is over, meanwhile in London it is a case of how cold the rain gets...

Well the rain is making it across, but what's the betting the snow won't. Dump it on the ski slopes and I'll be happy enough though.

It's howling and chucking it down! Just been out to make sure my chickens are tucked up for the night! My husband thinks I'm mad going out in this !

Have to admit it's really wild and gusty , just torrential sideways heavy rain! Yuck! Hope it turns to snow v soon!

A lot of weather to stay focussed on for the coming few days...anyone with thoughts about Monday's storm.....looks (atm) to be every bit as stormy as Gertrude but possibly a bit further south? Could have a major impact as it looks to be the afternoon that sees the worse of the winds.

Wet snow here now.

Edit: Proper snow now. Getting blown around in the gale. A long way from settling yet.

Edit Edit: Off again

Snowing steadily here now, temps still a bit on the high side, currently 2.3c  and the ground still soaking from all the rain earlier so it's struggling to lie but hopefully  I'll wake up to a wee covering here................fingers crossed:cold:

Yeh I am not sure about this one now. Will be happily surprised if we get snow overnight. No sign of anything so far in Falkirk area.
