Not a great day today, mostly dull and cool in the breeze, still people out and about wearing woolly hats and scarfs. I guess Spring still hasn't properly sprung yet.

It's sprung today, such is the fickle nature of early spring weather.  Some decent sunny spells already this morning.  Glorious sunshine now, completely different feel to yesterday's chilly cloudfest.  Atlantic return mid to late next week will return our region back to its normal state of affairs'.  Enjoy the dry while you can.

Forecast cloudy all day today. I've woken up to lovely blue skies and gorgeous sunshine!

Lovely day here.

cloudy first thing but the sun had burnt through by about 8.30 and it's been wall to wall since.

cars washed and cleaned out so maybe a walk is on the cards this afternoon and even a pub tea and a few beers to finish off.

not quite the perfect day that Lou Reed had in mind but not bad for mid March.

Another dry although not particularly nice day but it looks like its downhill from here.

a change to Atlantic influence just in time for Easter.....now why does that not come as a surprise.

I would say unusual, more typical of Xmas! Easter is normally dominated by easterly winds

It's certainly not normally dominated by warm sunshine.

More cloud around over the last few days but still with some sunny breaks, was nice for a few hours this afternoon with some blue sky temporarily. Back to unsettled weather in the coming days with wind and rain the main feature :( Nearly two weeks since it last rained, can't really grumble and it had to break down at some point...

True but it took the rainy, mild spell four months to break.

four months of dry weather and we would have had standpipes in the streets.

Looks like you'll be able to that one on rinse and repeat for the next few days at least

i just hope that you've got one that says something like "hot sunny and dry again, it's getting a bit tedious now" for the long hot summer that's on its way.

Not a bad start to the day with the sun starting to break through the clouds.

make the most of it though as its downhill from here.
