A slow start up here with cloudy skies and misty on the tops but once the sun got to work it turned into a lovely afternoon.

hopefully many more days like this on the way before we settle into a long hot summer.

Yes was perfect springlike weather today, temps at 14c in Manchester for St Paddy Parade, decent turnout with sunny skies.  Felt quite warm at times, with a subtle breeze to keep you refreshed.  Although it will be dry all next week, I'm not sure we're going to get as perfect a day like today.  Cloud amounts look to be more invasive next week.

I thought that too, but they seem this year to have the Parade on the Saturday proceeding the 13th.  There's the Irish festival which is a two week event http://www.manchesteririshfestival.co.uk/

Slight ground frost first thing with a temp of 1.3c, climbed up to 4.7c now. Blue skies and sunshine so a decent day coming up if the cloud stays away.

Been a nice day today but the blue sky increasingly blocked out by a lot of plane trails expanding making the sun rather hazy at times.

West facing rooms of the house getting quite toasty now the sun takes longer to set in the evening.  Another day without fault, maybe a bit more of a breeze but long sunny spells, only a bit of high cloud about.

Perfect spring day with wall to wall sun from the word go, not long to sunset now. Got up to 12.3c and felt nice in the sun with little wind, more of the same please!

Nice day 14c.

Decent day here as well with sunshine throughout.

its looking like the next few days will bring more cloud across the Eastern part of the region including myself with the best conditions reserved for those further west.

i'm not complaining though, at least it dry.

Hooray - high pressure back on the scene for the first time since late October. Lovely day here, no wind, blue skies, sunshine and feeling very pleasant with temps climbing up to around 13 degrees, very respectable for mid March. The synoptic set up is perfect for the Lake District, best kind for dry sunny calm weather, we often see such set ups during Spring, if this was May we would easily be looking at maxes into the low-mid 20's, alas it is only mid March, but it shows the powering up of the sun.

Tomorrow will probably deliver more of the same, perhaps more cloud tempering the temps somewhat. By Wednesday looking cooler with more cloud, Thursday could be quite raw and chilly feeling.

The morning cloud cleared quickly to leave another beautiful early spring day with plenty of sunshine and a top temp of 12.6c. Getting used to this now, settled sunny and quite mild, feeling very nice in the sun.

The two pleasant springlike days have passed, today much cloudy, bit grey, cool and dry... bit boring to be honest.  Could be rinse and repeat all the way through to weekend.

Stunning day slight easterly breeze but a a respectable 133 c nice :)

133c, where were you Venus:D

poor day here compared to yours by the looks of it; mainly cloudy and without the sun, the breeze felt pretty cold.

Unbroken sunshine this morning, wasn't expecting that after seeing the TV forecasts last night but not complaining! 2.9c at dawn, up to 9c now.
