Misunderstood my post, I mean it's funny in regards that it's only a few miles further north and they have a lower dew point but still near the coast and bythe looks of it the front is further east than predicted or at least the preciptation is.

gotcha yes.. it's a funny one indeed, I don't really know what will happen now.. certainly it's "game over" for west of the M6 I should think... dewpoints here are 2C now.

I need to carry on then ;-)

Here they are rising, but this was expected further west, already becoming mild in west Wales.

it looks to me like back fill from the Irish sea..also it seems to me the front as stalled.

The whole thing is being weird, moving the precip back, it looks like precip is also forming from a SW to NE as well as NW to SE!

oh  either I misread before or temp has shot  up

its 1.0 here with a DP of -0.9

good enough for snow, but now we need the upper air to play ball, and drop a few more C otherwise its like drizzly rain or freezing rain at best.

0.2c, DP -1.7c, snowed quite heavy for last 30 mins with roughly a cm on some surfaces! took some pics out with the dogs, feels bitter.

No snow here - at least the rain has stopped. Is there ANY chance for me tonight do you think? :nea:

Light covering from a few hours of steady but mainly light snow (typical warm front drizzle turned to snow!). One happy 3 year old - small snowman, sledging and snowballs, followed by hot choc..that's what it's all about!

I have to be honest and say it's unlikely.. but surprises have been sprung before. If there is more precipitation on the way this far west, then it's possible given the knife edge situation, but otherwise, that possibility is fairly low.

Good cover and still snowing lightly with what looks like more incoming if it carries on as the radar is showing and after this gap.
