Temp is stuck at 1.7c.  In theory that should just about be ok.  Certainly feels more conducive out their now.

That is bizzarre that there is a SW to NE element in the precip. I'm hoping this really gets it going. Seems like the weather is doing whatever it likes!

The dew point is more important for snow.  Heavy precipitation will lower the temperature without a problem.

I can't point it out, but on 5 min radars, it's an area precip east of Liverpool, tracking east and north east.

If it was a bit colder or I had a bit more elevation I'd have done better.

Yes there's dripping here too but it's from the houses that are giving off heat. Away from buildings still crisp and powdery.

Almost 800 posts since the new thread opened earlier today.....anyone would think it was the SE&EA thread.

it just shows how snow starved we've been lately.

SE/EA thread is my old threat (well, from 3 years ago when I lived in Suffolk) - been just as great - if not better - in here this afternoon! :)
