SE/EA thread is my old threat (well, from 3 years ago when I lived in Suffolk) - been just as great - if not better - in here this afternoon! :)

Used to pop into the EA thread when I lived in Northampton

Yes it should be due a more southerly track if so, and if snow, could be a good few cm widespread.

The way things have gone so far today, even I'll be to far west for it and Yorkshire will get plastered:wallbash:

The chance of that precip getting here is none existent. It'd take a straight Nly drift to get it here. Game over for most of Cheshire! Manchester should get the snow though.

dry as a camels sandal here. Two people have just walked past skipping merrily away walking their dog.. they can clearly see Spring is on the way.

Light covering here when you considering its been snowing since this afternoon is pretty pathetic but shows how marginal it is and just how close it was for a proper dumping of snow.

As it was getting darker the snow was settling more but now seems to of backed off again. That said don't get me wrong, its fantastic too see snowfall in this location and it does to an extent make up for the lack of a severe frost that could of happened tonight. I think my fun and games will be over soon and I will be casting an envy eye towards those in Yorkshire soon enough.
