As NOBODY has got the forecast right and even the models have been pants, right back to December, I'd say this has as much chance of happening as winning a lucky dip in a lottery pick. Snow, yeh right!

Low of 2.7 over night, no frost, must have stayed cloudy. Now still cloudy and temp up to 4.5

Hey guys,

Got back to the UK last night after a lovely trip to Montreal. Cut short unfortunately by work commitments which is annoying.

I got to experience -15c by day and -25c by night with lots of snow and a snowstorm on my first day. What an experience and I can’t wait to do it again next year. Im back over there in July where ill experience sunny days and temps of around 30c. Imagine the UK had proper seasons like Canada.. One can only dream.

I see things are set to turn cooler this week here but dry which is great. Temps of 6/7c by day is going to feel so mild for me. Quite comical reading through the last few pages of this thread referring to this week’s cooler weather and projected overnight temps as the ‘freezer’

Ill post a few pics later once I transfer them from iphone to MAC

Lol the cold hasn't even got here yet, the northerly only just started last night give it time, it's cooler as it would be from the north but the colder uppers haven't moved over yet. The 228 line in thickness hasn't even reached the north of scotland yet, it's nearly there just off shore.

Come to puppa ;)

Haha, ooh some drizzle and maybe some sleet if we're lucky, much to look forward to! :)

A beauty of a day so far here, the sun feels warm out of the moderate NW'ly breeze. The rest of this week looks lovely with some sun and frosts before the vile cloud, wind and dampness heads back for the weekend, just from a different direction this time.

I don't mind northsea dampness lol, as it can be drizzly at times, but in the last few years it has given us here a storm or two, just hasn't delivered proper snow, but it has at least given some wet snow in the heavy bits.

Took bubs to rainbows last night in the light and it felt almost like a early spring evening. In fact the mornings are much lighter now too.

Snow next week?

We got Hail and Sunshine here ..... very strange!!

A peppering of showers could turn wintry later on unusual from a northerly flow you can thank the strengthening sun for the convection.

Beginning to feel the warmth of the sun now.

Lovely out of the wind in the corner of the garden.
