Ben you seem very seldom to be happy on this forum!!!!!

He thinks having the precipitation of Almeria is normal and healthy.

Very muggy today, there were fleeting glimpses of the sun mixed with drizzle and occasional fog patches. a high of 22C.

lovely sunset tonight. took a pic if my phone downloads it ok ill post it. still mild out.

I think people need to get used to these dull summers, the summer I remember as a child, days on end of heat then 'all-nighter' thunderstorms have all but gone.

How can you compare a few weeks of dry weather in the UK to Almeria's climate?

If you mean a drier than average July with sunny conditions and dry ground is normal - Than you are correct. Cant for the life of me understand what the panic of a few weeks with no rain is all about living in one of the wettest country's in Europe.

Been a nice sunny afternoon, started cloudy but warm this morning, windy too, which is dying down a bit now.

Not a bad day, sunny spells and dry. A high of 25C surprisingly.

Just had a few spit spots here, nothing major. Just a handful of convective drops out of one of the clouds.

Loads of cloud again here with a strong breeze, not cold and it is dry so far but still feels like Autumn is coming. Need some sunshine!

Some hefty showers this afternoon, still the temperature reached a respectable 22C so not too bad.

Morning gang, apart from Tuesday this week's weather had not been bad at all here!

The "cold" snap for next week look like a fart in a thunderstorm before warmer conditions build in.

And still.. Some people with a brain the size of a pea want the cold conditions in august and even colder. Not realising clearly the implications to crops up and down the country which of course has a serious financial cost to both the farmer and consumer! All because they want some poxy cold weather, be patient till it's the season for it!!

This is a lovely morning.

Coolish start, 14c now 17c blue skies, feels nice and fresh, dont suppose it will last.

BY the way Surrey, people arent asking for cool cold weather its non humid weather.
I still want 25c every day and clear blue skies but not muggy and humid.

So as expected the cold blip moves further and further east, in fact in here in the south we really won't notice it at all,

So after the warn weekend we are about to have temps drop a little but not much then it looks as though high pressure builds in and last right out to the end of the gfs run!

Warm, dry and sunny! Helllll yeah

Really hope so, Surrey! This summer has got me down, was hoping for a lot more sunshine. Fingers crossed August delivers, about time we had a good one :) Today felt better at least, hopefully tomorrow will be sunny.

Been a very nice day here again, nice and sunny wind gone, no humidity with the sun, lovely. Still T'shirt weather now though which might mean an uncomfortable sleep for some, nothing keeps me awake once my head hits the pillow though.

Gorgeous morning here, blue skies not a cloud to be seen as yet and feeling warm. Encouraging model output for a decent spell of high pressure coming up after a cooler snap on Mon-Wed. Everything crossed!

I don't want it cold..it's summer??? I just don't want 30c+heat and hot sleepless nights. I've been lucky that way, but still too cool for the time of the year.

Lovely calm morning and warm.
