Well I finally had a day off yesterday and went to Thorpe park, the weather was fantastic, lots of sunshine and light winds. Warm too with a high of 24C.

It looks warm and sunny today as well with temperatures into the mid-twenties

Tomorrow looks pretty decent as well and warm again.

Well with increasing amounts of sunshine this afternoon the temperature has managed to reach 26C here. It feels absolutely lovely out there again.

Well the gfs 12z is a stunning run...

This summer has been one of the best I feel okay not heat wise but lengths of sunny spells.

Next week we see cooler but by no means cool (under any cloud it might) that lasts from tuesdsy-thursday.

Then we see high pressure from them the south begin to build in. With comes some very settled weather and warm air  coming in. This lasts right out to the end of the run, with it turning increasingly hot.

Back from a week in my home village in Wales and it reminded me how lucky we are over here in this Region (if warm, dry weather is your preferrence). For 2 days last week it didn't stop raining and most days were 2 or 3C cooler than here. I left my Mum's garden a lush green and arrived back in Suffolk with my lawn brown and bedding plants wilting!

Anyway.... as August day's go, here in Suffolk it was pretty darn good with 8.9 hours of sunshine and a top temp of 24.8C. And still 20.4C at 22.00, so one of those rare evenings when you can enjoy sitting out in the garden in a t-shirt & shorts until late. :)

The cloud from the departing cold front soon cleared this morning and it's mainly blue sky now with some fair weather cumulus zipping along in a very gusty wind. Temp was already 20C at 09.00 and it's now up to 24.5C at midday. Like being under a hair dryer out there! Been invited around the neighbours for a bbq this afternoon - could be fun in this wind! :D

Afternoon, rather warm and very windy here, not much cloud (hardly any really) so almost unbroken sunshine and dry.

Good walking weather if nothing else.

Apart from a few bits of cumulus it has been a sunny and breezy day here, the temperature has again hit 26C. A perfect weekend.

Another stunning day. Sunny and warm at 25c - the breeze keeping (if any) humid weather non existent. So nice, I would take this weather for the next 2 months with both hands.

Imagine living in Scotland and the North west, I mean I know our summers the majority of the time are crap down here, but up there I would literally go insane. Or move!

Touched 27c here a short while ago and with such high humidity and a breeze it's really not a day for doing too much...in fact horrible! :( not sure about perfect?

There's quite a strong breeze to help deal with the temps...

And it's still cloudy here lol. But blue sky is finally starting to show through. high of 19 but feels comfortable with a T'shirt. Humidity at 94% which may explain that.
