Looks like the decaying cold front moving south over our Region is nothing more than patchy cloud that hopefully won't completely spoil the morning. Already a pleasant 20C outside.

Not that nice here with grey skies and strong winds, but still quite warm. Hopefully the cloud will break up soon. At least yesterday was stunning!

I am afraid your wrong based on IMBY stuff, lol..

It will of course be warmer than that where you are.

However  here direct on the coast with a fresh easterly it will be 21/22c.

As soon as everyone else cools down we will get warmer here once the wind gets out of the east. :)

Well, mustn't grumble about today! The cloud kept coming and going, but there was plenty of sunny spells that took the temperature here up to 24.9C.

So after a couple of days of winds from a westerly direction - and so the highest temps for our Region in the east - tomorrow sees the winds start to take on an easterly flow by the afternoon, so the highest temps will be in the west of our patch. By Mon afternoon it could be a cool 18C to 20C for locations near the east coast. All captured nicely by the Arpege temp charts for 17.00 each day.

Today Arpege Sat13Aug 17.00.png Sun Arpege Sun14Aug 17.00.png Mon Arpege Mon15Aug 17.00.png

But a very nice few days (or more) of weather coming up. No silly hot temps by day and comfortable at night for sleeping. :)

A very nice Saturday in the end punting in Cambridge, good sunny intervals and temperatures peaking at 25C.

I might have over-indulged on cocktails from a class earlier today. :drunk:

Turned into a nice day here too after a dodgy start. Some decent sunny spells, broken cloud, moderate breeze and a high of 25C. Looks ok this week too, wondering if we might get a storm? Not sure of potential.

Looking mostly dry this week and probably hitting 27c eventually. 19.1c at the moment here.

Today's high here was 20.5, roughly the same as yesterday, and going back as far as I can remember.

Just had a quick Sunday morning read through the MOD thread.

The usual stuff, all pretty negative and one member in particular using the phrase 'be afraid, be very afraid'

The same member that has said this before this summer when actual fact as 2016 summer goes, it hasn't been that bad. Ok no prolonged heat etc. But it's been nice and dry in parts and temperatures have never got desperately cool apart from a couple of times.

For me the MOD thread is a soap opera with a different storyline every 4 days or so! With a certain member basking and milking every frame if a deep low is involved... Sad really! He clearly has no life.

Looking forward to a warm/dry few days ahead, even if I am working :-(

What are we supposed to be afraid of?:cc_confused:

Excellent weather long may it continue frankly screw those!! who want a return to Autumnal conditions, we fail to fill the tank of good summer weather as it is, you can't get much better than this. :)

Today has been a little disappointing, the cloud is finally melting away now.

This coming week looks decent, though coastal areas could see some mist and low cloud at times. We wait to see how warm conditions but I suspect we will hit the mid-twenties somewhere in the west of the region on most days this week.

Well those easterlies got well delayed.

Felt very warm this afternoon although only 21c ish.
Interesting the MO 7 dayer although poor has no higher than22c all week.

To be fair it has well changed for this week coming.

Yes, although finally they have arrived seaside - well at least a very gentle breeze of 7 or 8 mph has! Although it is slightly stronger down in the very far SE corner at 15 mph.

Not too bad here, with a high of 20.8C and 5 hours of sunshine.
