Yep, noticed that. Will be mostly rain to low ground in west of region I reckon. Was torn whether to stay up or not but think I'll go bed.

I'll give it 30 mins till main band arrives and see what falls.

That's weird because different radars show the same ppn.

Temp has risen from 0.7 to 1.3 in half an hour so it doesn't bode well.

Lashing it down here, horrible out there.

-6/-7 uppers and lashing it down with rain. Only in the sodding UK. As Stephen Prudence said, it can even snow in Greece with uppers of -7 and a wind off the Aegean, yet when it comes to the UK....

It was also minus 0.5C here and it still rained, not even sleet, rain!

I love it! :yahoo:

As expected we now have snow here and looks like it'll add a few cm for the next 2hr or so.

Mmmm I think your gonna get a lot more than that my friend given your location

Yep, I've witnessed that before but temp was actually a bit lower than that. Again, only in the UK.

What?

You are telling me it is snowing on the coast at 4c and I get rain below freezing?

I think my head may explode!

Do you have a link?

Definitely 10cm added on-top of the already 2am fallen already on the tops by sunrise. Going to be a rough commute for some in the coming few hours.

Blob spiking up just East of Manchester. Stoke on Trent might get lucky if that keeps developing
