Still falling as rain, but there's been some sleet and hail mixed in with it, grounds soaked though so it'll need to be heavy to have any chance of settling.

Sferic and  Thunder to the south at last. A bit annoying as I've given up that shower as a bad job and taken my eye off it. that makes my 8th thunder day of the year then, quite respectable.

Well here under the snow dome of Wallasey, I was rudely awoken at 5.30 by the loudest thunder I've ever heard and then prevented from falling back to sleep by a very beefy and prolonged hail storm.  Nice! :-) :-)

Very dark cloud approaching with hail and strong winds. I slept through the thunder

Sticking a little here, quite some decent sized wintry flakes in the heaviest part of showers.  Still some wet stuff mixed in so I think the roads will be OK if the council has been gritting them.  Will be very interesting higher up, if the showers persist in their wintry nature.

First snow of the year falling here in the village at 210m, keep hearing rumbles but being on the flight-path into Manchester I can't tell if it's just aircraft holding over the Goyt or actual sferics despite lightningmaps saying there's some electrical-stuff coming out of the clouds nearby.

Lovely covering of hail, even on roads and has remained there for 30 mins! impressive by the coast in mid November! :cold:
