Tomorrow's rain looks tricky re placement. I don't think the models (at least ones we can view) have much of a grasp on it. The front will pulsate, so rain will pep up in the afternoon, with quite a bit falling in some places.

The BBC are now showing it to be wet all day here, but just this afternoon it was showing just a few hours of rain tomorrow evening.

Was very mild last week, 12-13c most days but hit 14c yesterday.

Slight damp feel this morning, with a little drizzle, not enough yet to register anything.
12.3c, SW 6-10mph, 1022.9 hPa

Today the weather is just yuck. 12c  damp, foggy visibility rubbish in places, felt like it hasn't even got light today. I hate it.

Turned pretty foul now, heavy-ish drizzly driving in the wind. A few gusts above 25mph. At least all the neighbours xmas lights brighten things up in the street. Laie_81.gif

Just cruised past your place, after doing the rounds of Poundbury, and dropping in to Holme Farm.

Don't know about drizzle, I was adding another light outside and it's rain not drizzle over here. Should drop round and check the laser display:yahoo:

It just goes to show how difficult that rain was to forecast. Yesterday's TV forecast showed rain all day for here, all we've had is just the odd burst of drizzle. The winds have been more of a feature than the rain, and they weren't mentioned.

Looks as though the front has moved way north, rather than swinging south across the region. Radar shows heavy rain as far north as York, which was not expected, whilst down here it looks as though once the slight area of increased rainfall passes through shortly the expected heavier rain wont actually make it to us. Of course out over the channel there's the tail ends of the front still to drag through.

The same thing cruised through here, but nowhere near the same amount of rainfall, was waiting for that.

Not bad GFS had you down @ between 5 - 6 and us @ 5mm, so pretty much spot on.

Not quite the rainy day predicted yesterday, was grey and dull all day.
Drizzle through the day on and off through the day.
3.7mm was yesterday's total with most of that falling around 4-5pm and 7-9pm

7.4c at midnight and a low of 5.3c at 5:32
Now 6.3c, 1025.5 hPa, WSW 3-5mph.

Another mild week ahead, 9-11c and some light rain on Monday and Tuesday.
Looking like a non event too in the run up and over christmas. Not looking that cold and no snow or anything close to wintery over Christmas, as it stands today.

Shortly after I posted this morning, the fog came down thick and heavy, so much so even looking down the street showed how deep the fog was. And yet it burnt away, leaving us with a sunny day and some seasonal temperatures. Cant complain about that really for December. Currently 8.6°C
