Most positive post by Eric so far this winter... Luckily I was sitting down! 

He is worth a follow was interesting reading his thoughts in MJO during La Nina last week..  and he has been accurate with the slow moving phase.

Ideally need to run the loop on the link embedded in tweet, this gives greater indication how it progresses. Maybe picking it up wrong but looks like Icelandic High on or immediately after Christmas.
