Quite possibly the worst temperature predictions from the MetO, for this location, that I can remember. They had a max of 23°C yesterday, but I had 26.9°C on my Davis and Netatmo. Today, the max was predicted to be 25°C, and I had 29.6°C on the Davis and 29°C on the Netatmo.

I've found the app often tends to underplay max temperatures. Ironically it got it spot on for here today. Said 26°C and that's what it reached.

The area of rain which developed on the radar below Gloucester all evaporated before it hit the ground. Sunny again now.

Got to 28.6 today. Few bits coming out of FoD/ Wales but don't think they'll amount to anything here.

Briefly hit 29.5C this afternoon before cirrus increased from the west, and has since ushered fresher feeling conditions and the temperature has dropped to 26.2C. Must have had an invisible cold front go through.

This is the 3rd Thursday out of 4 Thursdays with a very weak cold front, the previous 2 had mist and Stratocumulus whereas today was mainly Cirrus. Definitely much fresher this evening and dropping quite quickly at 22.8c .

Indeed. It was quite noticeable how the breeze picked up as it came across, removing the much stickier feeling from before.

Very pleasant sunny day yesterday with a high of 28.3c.
Was still 20c at midnight.
Looks like the same today, blue skies and 18.7c already.
Wind is very light and has been like that since mid afternoon yesterday.
Currently 1-3mph Westerly.
1016.1 hPa, 75% humidity

A hot day yesterday with a max of 28.6C (in my aspirated radiation shield so should be true air temp).

No sea breeze all day, even though Sidmouth had one most of the day so was about 4C cooler there until the evening.

Cloudier this morning, should be a little better for working outdoors today but still nicely warm

Another hot one with a maximum of 27.4, but not as high as yesterday's 31.1. And yes the BBC forecast tends to underestimate maxima here as well (and overestimate minima) - it predicted a maximum 28 for yesterday (we got 31.1, the nearest official station at the university 30.9) and 26 today.

I'm not normally up and about for a summer sunrise, but it was worth a wander this morning.

16.7°C overnight low, slowly creeping back up, but a layer of As keeping the sun at bay.

It got down to 16.4 at 5am, and not a sticky night like we have had of late.
Now 21.4c with a lot of white cloud as said above keeping the sun in.
1019.0 hPa, 70% light 2-4mph NW wind, 70% humidity.

It's been another sunny and warm day, not much cooler than yesterday with a high of 22.4°C.

From all tv, online and app forecasts I was not anticipating 25c plus from 11am onwards with plenty of hot sunshine and a breeze. Arguably the best, most pleasant  day of the last week as a whole.

Similar here too, just with a bit more cloud around at times. Nevertheless, a very light breeze and topped 25C again which was nice. Looks respectable tomorrow too before an iffy week to come.

Not quite the same here. It was cloudy until lunchtime, partly cloudy after that, before clearing a bit more. I agree about the forecasts though, despite what Matt Taylor said at 2am - cooler and feeling less humid, today was very warm (24.5°C) and a more humid than the previous four or five days.
