Well I have just spent an hour sticking snow flakes to the insides of my windows in front room and the windows in the dining room just so it looks like it's snowing :ball-santa-emoji:

Do you have any idea about my location please moki

Your well in the warning area now so as others have said, the Met must be expecting a more westerly flow or troughs to come through. Showers can be hit and miss but I can't see altitude being a big problem as the cold digs in so I'd expect practically everyone to see snow tomorrow evening or at least wake up to it on Friday.

how much will depend on location and a fair bit of luck but some of us could be digging out by early next week.

Yay Met app now has some snow symbols for Friday. Can’t remember ever seeing the app show snow from a north-westerly. God knows why I’m even bothered what an app says lol

Got this from the MOD thread.

Won't these lows passing through bring us into a Easterly feed ?

At least you can take some down with you and sell to the highest bidder.

we are meant to be in Manchester wandering around Christmas markets on Sunday but I'm sure the thought of sleet in the city centre meaning a full blown white out in Bacup will sway me into a day at home.

Snow is notoriously difficult to predict in this country and the thought of it panics a lot of people so they probably try and keep the lid on anything until they are as sure as possible.
