Dianne Oxberry in ramp mode! The charts looked very snowy just about everywhere for tomorrow night . :)

Always love seeing snow in the foreast next to temps of 10..... how hard can it be to change the numbers

Cold enough for snow anywhere in this region, they dont need to be -8 in this set up.

Good Evening all, new poster on here.  Have been excited by all the comments on here about the upcoming cold snap.  I live in mottram nearly staylybridge in Tameside, am I too far east or is there a chance the snow showers might reach me.  Im fairly high up here so height not an issue but just wanted to know if they would reach this far inland.  Thanks.

Corrupt data me thinks.... just done a calculation...if metcheck were correct, not in anyway going to be, I’d have 2.3 metres of snow by Thursday next week... hahaha

The models are beginning to suggest the flow will be more WNW than NW on Thursday night and into Friday which increases the risk of snow showers for the whole region significantly, not just coastal areas. Many of us could be waking up to a cover on Friday morning. The Lake District in particular would be hit much harder, thanks to added power of evaporative cooling and convection / orographic uplift due to the marked change in topography from coast to country.
