Yeah I haven’t even been in there since last winter I got fed up of it. Will have a quick look if things get more interesting in a few weeks though but can’t stay in there for long especially as there does seem to be a little bit of SE bias like the convective thread.

A bit of SE bias that’s a diplomatic way of putting it

more often than not I think I’ve clicked on the SE regional thread by mistake

A bit colder than  forecast again, 1.9°C currently.. Wind is NW but it’s quite light so not having much impact; Crosby is also around 2°C.

Not sure what the temperature is here but the car which wasn’t used today is already coated in ice.

Haha yeah exactly. Well are used to be very assertive about what I thought of it but it didn’t go down very well so I thought I’d try being diplomatic now

Probs won’t amount to much but I’ll take it.

Funnily enough I was eating one when I was doing the post.i would be serving a ban if I'd tried to use the words I wanted.

On a serious note the likes of @Tamara and @knocker excellent knowledge and the kind you learn alot from driven away from that thread by some of the cold brigade and when you look back over the last few years there analysis was not incorrect was it?

C.S

Yes, I followed the forum for a long time before eventually signing up, I miss @knocker posts too, very knowledgeable chap with a great sense of humour.

Current garden temp. a chilly 2° ( urban reading )  and now quite foggy, cannot see the end of my road.

Yep 0.7°C here now. Even WRF which is usually pretty close  has been over estimating way too much this week.

Now that place does get seasonal weather

As we say around these parts, that would feel a bit fresh.

3rd potential icy frosty morning spoilt by low cloud and now rain which invaded into the early hours....and with the winds from the NW no matter what forecaster deems it to be patchy and light, it's never the case over the tops of our North West facing hills..... Lashing it down.

Yeah I’m on the last of two days holiday so was hoping for a bit of a lie in but the rain still woke me up at the usual time.

Let’s hope the forecasts keep overestimating the min temps all winter. We got down to close to zero too, helped along by some fog.

I had football last night and after the game (25 min) my coat legitimately had frost on it from being sat near the goal!
