Do the roads look ok?  Leaving Folkestone (0.8c and rain) to drive up the M20 sooo !

Traffic cams look ok for the motorway so far as I can see.

Edit: snowing here too now! Not laying so far.

Second edit: it is now laying. I’m so annoyed, literally the only day in my existence where I didn’t want snow!! (Hope the video works?)

I think roads will be absolutely fine. It is settling on the road only briefly.

sadly the roads aren’t the issue... it’s the drivers.

Well looking at the models this morning, it could rain or snow here, it could only last an hour or so, or most of the day. It really depends on the trajectory of that band of precipitation.

Still seems to be a consensus that some parts of western and possibly central east Anglia could get a little more than a dusting (1-2cm). Best best probably western Suffolk and Essex along with Cambs and Herts perhaps.

I caught one snowflake right at the very death.... frustrating to be honest I never expected anything but if precip stayed a little longer.

About a cm here just north of Colchester. Lovely to wake up to. Won't be here long, but the kids are absolutely buzzing!

I've got what I've decided to optimistically call wet snow, it's much quieter on the conservatory roof than rain, here in South Woodham.

I saw on a cam. Even on the seafront. Laying snow on Hastings beach.

Rather suprisingly we have snow here in Heybridge, Essex! Admittedly it’s very wet after torrential rain all night but we have a covering on roofs/grass/cars etc, there’s even enough on the window ledge to stick my finger into and that hasn’t happened for a few years!

Last winter we never even saw a flake here so this is a good start

No snow here...yet. But we must have had a heck of a lot of rain as the Blythe has flooded the local millennium green, again. Doesn’t even feel that cold out.
