We're going from the fridge into the freezer this run..

Look at that cold ready to drop..

No mixing on this one.

Summed it up in one small sentence

fridge to freezer!!

even the ecm which isn’t as good imagine those charts last winter, think we are being spoilt tbh. The thought of snow streamers setting up from the east.

whichever way we look at it for the time being it looks like staying cold and possibly getting colder

On the other hand these GFS parallel runs are about as welcome as a fart in a lift at the moment, hope it stops messing around tomorrow and comes into line with the GFS.

Some small minus 10 pools popping up now too, shows how cold can develop in situ in these set ups

Was just about to post that exact chart. Home grown cold (well France grown cold, but don’t let brexit get in the way )

Not many substantial differences between the 12z and 18z at day 6.

Cold pool developing in situ on 18Z. Makes sense to me - it's what often happens in an easterly in winter. Much better snow chances as a result.

I almost don’t want to look because it’s like reverse Santa Claus, every time we have a crazy pub run, I wake up in the morning and Krampus has been and stole my pub run

Exactly the type of flow a polar could appear in.

Not that we need to ramp this run anymore

Is that a ...Low...or...Bear either would be epic
