We have the 2nd pause of the day here in Harrogate. Main roads have a cover, side roads are fully covered. We need a move of the heavier ppn and then the pivot. Let's see. I hope it picks up.

Hmmmmm since 3pm we've probably had about 3cm.

I'm feeling a touch less optimistic than I was earlier.

Seems a bit heavier now and more greens on the radar.

I am pretty sure this is going to reward most of us in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire too.

the PPN is a gathering in the said areas😊

Band has more or less flattened and is merging with our current stuff.

Radar shows Sheffield about to get hit.

I believe it's not till after midnight that conditions will be there for snow to fall in most of east Yorkshire and Lincolnshire

Although Lincoln is still up at 2.3C as the main band of >3mm/h precipitation approaches, there are flakes coming down, so will be interesting to see if the temperature drops as it comes over.  I don't expect any lying snow from it though, it's really after midnight when temperatures start to get more favourable in this part of the region.
