ICON has us down for some pretty wet weather in the coming days.

All interesting stuff. UK met having none of it though predicting temps of 7 to 8 c here by Thursday. Such disagreement at such close range.

Its a game of pin the tail on the donkey with respect to the position of the boundary. Not too dissimilar to last week.

Staggering satellite photo showing who did and who didn't get snow yesterday. Frustratingly close for many in our neck of the woods.

All eyes on the ECM later then to see if this is still worth hoping for.

Lovely bright sunny day except for the small hail showers at lunchtime

Looking at that - it's probably why we know all about it.

Big news.

To be fair there was pretty widespread news coverage of an event that only hit Yorkshire and our neck of the woods a few weeks ago.

I take it tomorrows snow has been cancelled with everybody looking at Thursday?

What are folk seeing re Thursday that I'm not (FYI I haven't a CLUE re charts  )?

All I can see is that METO and Beeb are forecasting c7ºC and heavy rain etc... Well; that's for where I am

Just fortunate it kept the MOD thread pacified for a change.

That Purple area is heavy snow that may fall for several hours (at what height???)

The fact that Arpege showed it first and now the ECM (Debatable top model) is something that makes the experienced look up and take notice.

A tweak South of the boundary so far, needs a shove South to bring most of the NW into play.

I'm not so sure the Atlantic is going to just power on through either, still time for Thursday to correct south.

ICON has adjusted more in line with this mornings ECM.

A nice stalling front wouldn't go a miss with the cold undercutting!

I borrowed this from @Allseasons-si, who posted on the MOD thread.

The latest Arpege.

So that's now ECM, ICON & Arpege interested in frontal snow for Thurs.

The GEM isn't a million miles away either, time for corrections south. The front stalls at the Scottish borders.
