You generally only find the yellow snow around the lamposts but thanks for the update I'll take a wide berth 😂👍

More organised band forming in the North Sea. Not sure how much inland it will come. It seems to be getting ate up as soon as it reaches the main land. Little more wind needed hopefully!

I came across the A172 from stokesley to the a19 and plenty of cars with snow on this morning. Currently working in Leeds and nothing here. Just polar bears and the occasional igloo!

Notice the angle of the showers just north of Berwick now. Could be good for later this evening

Yeah the wind is turning to a more favourable NE wind so hopefully fun and games later with more showers coming inland

Small LP moving down the North sea  which will create more of an onshore flow through the evening, which should push those showers further inland.

Everything seems to be dieing of death as soon as it hits land. When are we due the met warnings to materialise.

As usual for this area, I wouldn't expect anything other than a sugar coating, something like a aharp frost would create. Wasn't even that cold at 5am this morning sitting at around 0 degrees.

I'm by no means an expert. But IF something happens and it's a big if, we won't see anything at least until around midnight , in my opinion

Around 10ish onwards is our best bet tonight that’s when the coldest air of this spell arrives and for a change the wind turns to a north easterly

I think areas on the immediate coast could be very marginal tonight unfortunately, im expecting a sleety mix. A few miles inland and with some elevation could be okay.

Not unexpected small mild sector associated with the low, will be cold enough for snow again in a few hours
