If the snow is wet up there we don't stand a chance down here.

Yeah was quite surprised it felt slippy under foot, as looked quite fluffy coming down, unless it started off as sleet as I was napping after v early start today.

Yip, officially feeling Auld 👴

Snow will get down to see level just need the showers to hit now. No chance of rain with -4 dew points, currently just above freezing so that’s why lower areas seeing rain

Yeah, that's how it started here (Durham, 120m).

ETA: My guess is, as the wind veers NE, we're pulling warmer air off the sea.

Could be right, bit of a slushy mess here now, certainly doesn't seem to be freezing over.

The Co Durham road cameras tell the tale of this evening. Tow Law and higher for lying snow, so that's 300m+, with a slushy mess 100m to 300m. The Ushaw Moor camera best represents where I am.

It does appear to be more like snow now. Some more showers look like they might work their way in during the night

Bit of a letdown here this evening so far. Started as snow but then turned sleety. As others have mentioned you need to be above 200m to see anything lying.

Proper snow now but still not lying. Looking at the radar, we may get a few more showers. Hopefully the temp drops a degree or two.

Nice dusting here this morning, had gone slushy last night but obviously froze and a fresh cm on top.

Was awoke by the car scrapers at 6.30am, its very very cold.

Looks like mild next week if the main thread is to be believed but a nice end to November.

This week is a bonus anyways in what is expected to be a back loaded winter

Hoping this next clump of showers actually hit here and I can enjoy some of the white stuff... my guess it will be sleet by then 😀

Even Plymouth has more snow than me.😅
