Morning all,

Still cloudy but clearing up. Currently 5.7c with the overnight low 3c. Looking at the monthly mean most places around 1.5 to 2c below average (Edinburgh -2.7c). Will be interesting to see where we are at the end of the month.

Dare I say it feels and looks springlike outside just now.

After recent weeks, the current 5.5c in light to moderate winds feels positively mild.

Sun is now also noticeable higher and plenty of it here at the moment, though showers not too far away by the looks of things.

Overnight low of 1c and there was a lot of rain looking at the puddles everywhere.

Well I hope that all of you who got some snaw are bluddy pleased with yourselves; I got SFA thank you very much. Except drizzle. Pish.

Temperature 7.3deg.C up from 2.4deg.C minimum at midnight, humidity is 92%, wind is generally 3 to 6mph southerly with a 17mph gust at 04:09, pressure is 1010.6hPa rising quickly, there's been 13.6mm of continuous drizzle today and the cloud cover is 8/8.
