It's moving to the north here now, I didn't think it was going to get north enough, now it's going too far north,  you couldn't make it up.  We have had a lovely covering though so can't complain (well not too much anyway)

i think this area could be in a good spot today, just need it to slowly keeping progressing north, another 30 to 40 miles

Guys you need to be looking at the radar 5-6 miles to your east, not over you... As the brisk wind is blowing it far west of what radar is picking up.

I think Coventry, Leicester and the eastern side of Birmingham will be the sweet spot when this starts to pivot!

Looking like the pivot is starting to happen. 

 

If you look at the radar out towards Cambridge you can see that part of the band progressing faster now then it is over the midlands.

 

Maybe 10-20 miles further north progression, then a stall then starts to slip away south east.

I mentioned to Matt in an earlier post, the V8 radar in its projection is very unpredictable, even when it’s straight forward showers it get it wrong, so it will struggle when this what we have atm is going to stall/pivot

Is it starting to pivot now? Eyes could be deceiving (seeing what I want to see probably), so could be wrong.

Gosh - can’t believe places near me are saying they’re just getting a few flakes - it’s chucking it down here!

Must be right under the sweet spot (for the first time in 5 years )
