ICON 18Z, even if we do get the precip will it be worth it, with forecasted snow accumulation like that!

Even the mountains of Wales are struggling to get any meaningful snow

It does make the meto warning sound a bit odd.

Definitely seems to be trending South but can't complain if it misses me more than satisfied so far. 12 snowfalls 8 lying days of snow and countless frost's and air frost's thrown in. Think South mids will be in for a few cms but the last one went North after looking like it was going South so who knows I guess.

I think not only this but looking increasingly marginal away from the highest hills to be honest

The outputs regarding most models are struggling come Saturday, tomorrow is the day when we’ll see better whether we’ll see snowfall cross the Midlands, but for now I’ve just seen BBC weather and all is good for most for Saturday and Sunday

Would trust Met Office written forecast with snow totals tbh. Just about whether we can get the front this far north.

GFS 18Z, similar position but notice the lack of accumulating snow, even for the Wales

Pretty much holds firm. Maybe a tiny bit further north.

That milder sector is further North on the GFS. Could be curtains for snow away from high ground. Dew points look on the wrong side of marginal.

Aperge has gone further north but a more northerly track looks more marginal.

Met Office app has downgraded Saturday also, was heavy snow for South Brum 6am - 12 at lunchtime, now sleet. Let’s hope things upgrade tomorrow, still time.

A more northerly track gives me and the rest of the Midlands rain.

A more southerly track leaves me dry and gives the rest of the Midlands snow.

Great

I tend to find if you put Stoke on a straight line from the top of Wales, your not far out lol. Hence nowhere near that blob lol
