Probably evaporating before reaching the ground. Models have been awful at modelling this one. Could be interesting later.

Temps and dew points are perfect for snow right now!!got a temp of 1 degrees here and dew points -1!!

Also meto warnings seem to have moved further south again and north leicester is in the warning again

Nothing falling despite bits of precip on the radar, main band seems to have got stuck 5 miles over the border (not sure if it's all snow or not though)

not reaching the ground, clouds look nearly the same as last Sunday before the snow arrived, maybe good sign for later

Went out for a walk early. Bitter cold and very icy.
 

An odd observation. Snow which fell yesterday settled on small parts of the grass, some leaves and some cars. The randomness is striking- why did it settle on small areas of grass and not others. Distribution very scattered

Looks like we may see a flurry later which will add to the 'falling snow days' which is now at 10 for this part. So even with no lying snow thats quite impressive.

Annoying when the radar shows one’s area under wintry precipitation for several hours but none of it is reaching the ground.

Is it me or is that precipation currently over SW potentially heading into the Midlands?  Not sure for my location yet but still,  not quite as modelled either?

 

edit - thinking rain btw.. not snow IMBY if it reaches this far.

But my cousin who lives in Yeovil said its melting so quick as soon as intensity weakens. They have no snow on ground so similar to ours yesterday. But does show any PPN will be snow.

Radar says precipitation been passing over us all afternoon, my eyes say the sun's come out...
