Morning all, light rain to start the day currently 12.1°C

cleared up nicely with plenty of blue sky

Dry at the moment with some tricky cloud around. Plenty of thick Ci, some Ac and some hefty Cu a little earlier

Chance of storms just popped up on my app.  
i know the app can be flippant but this one I use definitely better than the Bbc app. 
 

i also one that even of met office puts out warnings is almost a pinch of salt too as so far  they have been wrong about storm warnings for our region .

it’s nice to see s as appear though on my app as offers a glimmer of hope .

here’s hoping our luck and two year decent storm drought comes to an end………

Morning All, started out sunny and clear but now..as they say a picture is as good as...so

Patchy cloud approaching from the south.

Overnight low of 6.2°C at: 05:04 has clawed its way slowly up to 14.5°C currently

Turned out to be a not unpleasant day with a few cloud layers, Ci, Ac and some Cu

Not too bad out there. Sunny intervals and 22C. Today has a late summer feel about it.

Beautiful now, but it looks like more cloud is heading in from the channel.

Put up the previously advertised sunsail earlier, which is doing the job nicely. Tomorrow it will be a rainsail.

Cloudy most of the day but bright. Cleared off to sun within the past couple of hours though and 21c. I'll take that!

Morning All, a damp start with some patchy light rain earlier, a top up of 3.8mm, currently 14.0°C..

The wind has dropped and no sign of rain!

Currently 17.4°C  and Rh85%, but none of the clear liquid, right now we are in the clear spot..

I like what I see BUT...I'm not convinced given the current direction of flow...

From a simple radar check and recalling forecasts from this morning it seems everything is 75-100 miles further South than predicted.

Nice line of storms forming from Southampton through The New Forest into Dorset appearing to make its way further north westwards hopefully passing through our region and keeping intensity or increasing

Yeah, heard a rumble up on the hants/wilts border. Drove up to the open Forest and we could see the rain in the distance.

Now back home in the rain watching the heavy stuff slide to the SW of here.

A mere 5mm of rain and the first band has already moved NW rapidly away from us..nothing more than a long shower really...enjoy as it seems to pep up moving NW..

Less than that here.

The models now give hardly anything here over the next 36 hours. I've lost count at the number of  warnings I have been under and nothing has happened.
