If you watch the radar, even the stuff coming in from Wales is losing its intestiy now. Been nice to see the snow but a little disappointed to not get any accumulations at all.

I may walk into the Amber Warning area tomorrow 😁. About 2-3 miles to my northwest.

Thats the problem with forcasting snow, its just a fine edge. If the margins change just a fraction its game over. It would not surprise me if we didn't see anything around here.

Personally I just want it to warm up now, sick of paying out most of my wages of electricity!!!

Belper usually does quite well I remember driving up there for work for a couple years and I was always annoyed about how much snow you had up there. If only they moved the Amber abit south..

Nope just radar watching and saying what I can see. Also said I was nice to see but was disappointed not to have accumulations. That's not moaning

I still reckon theres a covering to be had across the central mids tonight. Let's see! Certainly more chirpy than earlier when it was dreary wet snow and good for nobody.

Unfortunately I'm in the town centre so not easy to get proper snow settling outside my door. But a 5 minute uphill walk and you can often see a big difference. So I can't complain.

It is nice seeing it fall from the sky not really had sleet here either so thats a plus just tiny flakes let's hope it peps up a bit. Finished work now so sat with a beer looking out the window. Bliss. Just imagine if we get a direct hit tomorrow!

Temps falling away slightly at 1.2 and wet bulb -0.3

High ground is key here, I have some accumulation but not much but a short trip to the licky hills a different story

The stuff over south wales has lost intensity big time, don’t see a whole lot coming from that for the west mids

Hope I’m wrong

It's an already existing area of low pressure, that's wobbling and waving along the low, it's expected to expand as we move into the evening.

Remember not every area of ppn has to come from somewhere, it can develop immediately above us

The echos also change as the rain turns to snow, always appears lighter,

6-10pm is  still the time for the midlands to get a few cms.
