Coming down thick and hard again, just crossing the 2cm mark.

Snowing quite well and covering all surfaces now.

Only a cm or so but nice to see before the long wait to next Winter.

It's washed away tomorrow, just like this time in 1917 , just enjoy the snow, as Coventry Cathedral  did back then...😨

Blimey….you lost a pound coin

Regarding a covering of the white stuff being washed away tomz and Coventry Cathedral been lost during the Second W W is a little uncalled for…😢

Consistent light snow for hours here as with most it began settling early evening and we currently have 3cm covering on grasses with around 1cm on roads. I am Alton, Staffordshire on the cusp of the peak district and the weaver hills.

All ready for spring but to me the cold heading further south seems to mean us in the north midlands are even more in the line if fire for a decent dumping of snow.

Winters last hurrah.

Still snowing here but much lighter than many of you. Stopped thawing now I think.

They must think they are thunderstorms! Travelling north, reaching the southern edge of Shropshire then changing direction to go to Birmingham, that's what thunderstorms do....

But we've still managed more snow this evening than all winter and all last winter, hopefully later tonight....

I was just looking at the coldest March 8th years for Coventry, 1917 had a max of only 0.0°C. Today's max of 1.4c so the second coldest March 8th here.

ICON slightly further south than its previous run. Not enough to get much of this region into 'play'

Better than no shift South I guess.

Around 2cm (possibly 3 in a few odd spots) of snow here, and still snowing with a few chunky flakes mixed in with the baby ones.
