Hi res 12z NNM’s for tomorrow morning…..wind chill -8

Snowing heavily here with big flakes. Starting to settle again. If this lasts all night there will be a good blanket by morning

Based on the models, I'd expect the rain to turn back to snow around 11-12 for Leicester and 2-3am for cov and brum

Winds starting to back Northeasterly on West coast of Wales now, thought it would be too early for England though.

Well I have heavy rain beating on my windows. Going to put the outside light on to see if there is a smidgen of snow in it. Depressing!

Always do well here in Bloxwich . Little bit of a plateau , we had probably 10cm or so this morning , still full cover now . Rain at the minute , but likely to see more snow soon I would think .

This is lovely to watch now, to be fair. Even if I’ve not had the winter wonderland I hoped for. Massive snowflakes are mesmerising, even in that horrid wind.

Turned lighter here now with smaller flakes.Wind is still strong though from the North East.

Evaporative cooling, for the win! I wondered why the UKV had precipitation as snow here this evening with 850hPa temperatures above freezing.

nothing to report in Hinckley  0.4 dew, temp 1.3 no rain, just cold

Judging by the timeframe of that warning i assume they expect it to change to snow further west and north a lot earlier?!!
