Looks like precipitation is pepping up a bit as it heads eastwards over Central Midlands.

Like i said, the Welsh marches does have a infuence to the midlands, note the line on the recent radar.

It will break through this time, i hope your bins and lamps are up to the job!

Yes it's properly coming down, got about 1cm now

Just to note, the temprature is rising here minus 0.8c seems the norm when cloud and precipitation is due.

That some really heavy snow coming through from wales into the midlands!!you can see where the milder air is aswell its all the way near south wales!!that seems a long way further south!!!!

We won't see snow here mate upper air temps will see us seeing freezing rain.

Had a temperature rise from -1.9 to -1.2 here in Worcester 30 minutes before the precipitation arrived, just been outside, we have got rain down here

I was just thinking the same. The Northern edge of the wider blob might just scoot South of Stoke..

Question is do I go to bed or wait it out to see if we get some snowfall tonight! You guys in Longton and Meir seem to get snow when us in Alton dont get a flake haha

Bit of an odd one for us further south. Fog has kept Temps well below freezing all day, currently -2c here yet rain expected in the next hour or two.

Occasional flurries here too. Very infrequent. The heavier stuff really only an hour away. 

I'm off to bed, I'm knackered. Hope to see some lying on the ground in the morning, unless it turns to rain later on. Best of luck to everyone.
