Makes a change, but I still envy the Lakes. Someone always has it better 😅

You know the Lake District has done insane, when I envy someone with more than 3 inches who then envies the Lakes 😂

In all seriousness, hope you're loving it though Matt!

Coming down quite thick now, should accumulate more rapidly now if it continues. Listening to some 2010 hits to make it feel abit like Decemebr 2010 while the snow is coming down 😂

Still snowing here, got about 0.5 - 1cm, cant tell in the dark but definitely still snowing.

Likwise here, some places non touched some snowed on.

I done the slipper test, 1.8cm and i did not 'slip' over - i nearly did tho!

Technically that could be 2cm as the snow compacted under foot. Another reason i miss my feline friend, he only made one track on his paws, came back the same way. There, a starwars tip there if i ever!

You might be a about half a cm higher than here but not 100% sure as ive not gone out and done any sort of test lol, but coming down pretty good now seems to be accumulating more rapidly so probably around the same now or soon enough.

Snowing here covering everything coming down quite thick. Good to see on the third day of wind, meteorological winter. Just a clip or two recorded in the dark just now.

Easing off now and just very light stuff left on the radar before it clears.

2nd largest snowfall I’ve seen here at around 9cm. December 2017 narrowly remains number 1 at 10cm,

Did Jan 21 not deliver for you? Probably matched March earlier this year with this one, good 2 inches now.

The weather continues to trick me, now snowing pretty heavily with thick flakes, and it's -0.1C, I think it's settling too.

That was a good one but I don’t think it was quite as much as today.

Seen so many snowfalls since moving here from the snow desert of London.

Yes, far more than I have.  Longden is about 120m, so like you say a bit higher.  You possibly did better being in the heavier bands of snow slightly north of me?

I've seen snow cover starting at Dorrington before. Hope you get some tonight 👍

Cant resist the ol' slipper test! Best i could thow together in quick time, after being up from 4am. That said its still snowing here but upon looking at the radar, conditionds will dissipate - then i think the ice warning will be apparent.

Its been a great night in the Mids thread, i have not 'drifted' elseware 🙂
