Ah man. Wake up to see a load of rain coming in from the west on the radar and the next low now modelled further north. Winter wonderland won’t last long.

My forecast has gone from heavy rain to sleet on the met office. Would be nice if by some miracle we got more snow from this precipitation band... then I dont know if thats even possible lol

Actually did snow (a bit) then. Missed seeing it falling but cannot be the last opportunity this winter!

Had about a centimetre of snow in the end. Quickly thawing now though with rain incoming soon! I was thinking that Mondays low would bring snow here ,as some models did show some here, but after looking at the weather model charts this morning, I think it may be more northwards than I expected. Hopefully it trends further south over the west mids…for me

Around 8-10cm here this morning. But rain is approaching.

Amazing 12 miles north of me (Coventry) which had settling snow here in Napton at 500 feet nothing.

No snowman for me just 3 days of a frozen water butt and yes I am 58.

Woke up to a dusting of snow here Shame it'll be gone later when the rain comes, but it's been nice to see and hopefully we get some more this Winter!

a covering here of maybe 2cm. Didn't get to any of it actually falling though (which is the best bit!) as was asleep, but nice to wake up to.

Sorry to anyone that woke up to nothing or just a light dusting, been there so many times over the year's so I feel your pain

We fared much better this time around, with around 2-3 inches falling over night. It actually feels quite a bit warmer outside so not sure if it will stay around for long or if we'll see anymore today / tomorrow, would be great if we did 

One things for sure, my love of cold weather and snow has been reignited this morning and this past week

Dewpoints were too high ,even though the surface was below freezing  last night here . Rule of thumb for snowfall......the colder the dewpoints the greater chance of snow to fall ,even though surface temperatures are above freezing...

A good dumping of snow here and it certainly doesn’t seem to be melting as yet.Having some breakfast then off out sledging!.

Our sugar coating is definitely melting lol, was hoping for more today but probably be rain, I guess we will soon find out

Snowman made! Surprisingly there's no sign of melting on car windows etc yet. Such a shame we couldn't have had this at the start of the cold spell instead.

Misty and murky out, looking like some rain on the way shortly, temps still slowly creeping up, have been since yesterday evening, so not too surprised at the thawing, up to 1.5C now.

its as if the Robin knew I wanted a seasonal photo! Depth 13cm here in Alton Staffordshire. Had a lovely morning ina. Winter wonderland before it possibly gets washed away.

 

People talking of the possibility of more coming?? When is this showing in the models?
