Temp and dew points up to 3c now, so no chance of any more snow. Shame really as it's forecast to rain all today, tonight and tomorrow. If only it was all snow, would have had 20cm+ 🤣

Steady rain here now. 1.2 °C. What little snow remains won't be there much longer, but at least I've had something this winter!

And winter has only just begun..Certainly more snow than last december, quite a frustrating month last year for snow during that 2 weeks cold spell

Light rain here now, frost has gone. Not a bad start to December really for cold.

Hope you get some tonight 👍

No such luck I’m afraid and seems like many other parts of Shropshire had a decent covering overnight! 🙄

Had an alright covering here in Radford. Probably about 1/2cm, mainly on bins, cars and the grass. Pavement was a dusting at best really. Now raining and feels autumnal again. Nice to see a few different areas getting snow - and considering it's only the start of winter, perhaps a good one is a possibility.

Still a lot of snow but the milder air aloft is really spoiling things. Miserable rain coming down. I really hate mild winter weather. It’s utter dung.

With all the snow melt and what seems like endless rain, are we going to go back to flooding issues? We have a constant stream of light and steady rain, with several hours of heavy rainfall forecast tonight.

All snow melted here about 3-4 hours ago, so was 100% worth it to go out at 2am in it. Looks like we have to pay the price for the cold spell, with non stop rain until Tuesday morning from now.

I'd say November 2021 was better for deeper snow here, but it's nice to get another nice fall of snow very early in the winter once again. Hopefully many more chances to come!

Local river forecasted to reach it's highest ever level next week, which probably won't happen, but it baffles me that the Met Office haven't even issued any warnings here.

Met Office warning for snow just to my north. Mentions snow to low levels, becoming confined to above 150m.

Most of this area is above 150m but only seeing rain.

What a swiz!

Was a great day though, was always going to be a 1 day wonder for even lowish levels, only really 300m asl won't see a thaw until Thurs

It is pretty rare to get prolonged snow in this country.

Was raining but now turned to light snow here. A slight thaw earlier but still 100% snow cover and around 3/4" remaining, Lanes are still covered.

Temp 0c

Dp -2c

Still snow on the Winking Man camera, so more like 300m. I suppose it might drop in any heavier bursts, but we are in a rain shadow from this sort of set up anyway.
