As expected, it’s been lovely today ☀️☀️☀️

I’ve hit 15.2 c but in the sunshine it was much warmer….lovely 😎

A nice day today.

Just had a fleet of house martins heading north.

Had a drive to Blithfield Res yesterday to do some much needed 'birding' with my mom, bless she getting on a bit but my late dad always loved the causeway, watching with mom.

Was good, we saw red kite a few times and had peace, and quiet (bar bikes that was like mad max) even the wind turbines stopped, south and north!

I got my old canon 350D out today (Charged lastnight), stock lens for a partial Sun Halo, took just after midday today 12:31

((Warning - Never look at the sun directly optics or not!)) Hence my finger 🙂

Disappointing day all told, forecast was much better.

Sun never really got going , and it had clouded over just after 2.

Hopefully not too bad tomorrow, but then an atrocious couple of days coming up.

Heating may have to go back on.

Agreed. Today wasn't as good as expected, tried sitting in the garden for a while, but the chilly breeze wasn't pleasant, especially when cloud cover increased. it was the best for eastern areas it seems. 

Let's hope in a week's time things get warmer and sunnier.

Agreed, I was excepting ☀️☀️☀️but it was gloomy with cloud cover….booo!!!

Yes same here….I’ve just put my heating on as well 🥴

Still remember last year’s record 40c ….how incredible it was, I never thought we would of hit that mark/them heights in my life time in the Midlands 🤔

I’ve experienced minus 38c 🥶 in Finland 🇫🇮 back in 2010 and 40c in the Uk 🥵

I love experiencing extremes that’s me  😉🤗

We have a strong Jet stream right now and the incoming low hasn’t even developed properly just yet and there’s indications that it could be lower than predicted, so gusts could potentially be at 60 or 70 mph 💨💨💨

Wild weather to come this week, a lot of hail and downpours today too, developing in clusters as forecast. No thunder here though. But good to see some has seen some thunderstorms earlier especially in the East of the region.

Very nice day today for cloudscapes and downpours, a perfect example of April showers.

About time we see more of this as opposed to more calm and borefest conditions akin to the last few April's. 

Warm and dry still very welcome but nice to sometimes spice things up like today and this up coming week!

It’s looking quite cold for this forthcoming Wednesday,especially going to work in the morning regarding the wind chill is more like Winter 🥶

What a lovely start to the day….☀️

then as we went into the afternoon…all down hill 💦☂️💦☂️

Here of got moderate rain and 7.1c right now at 6:30pm

My work colleague came home to find out that this fallen tree was at the end of he’s drive 😳

Could contain: Tree, Tree Trunk, City, Road, Tarmac, Street, Urban, Vegetation, Grass, Outdoors

From Coventry fallen tree as well but I think tree may have been rotten a bit.

We was working in Bidford upon Avon today and there wasn’t hardly any winds at all 

It’s just shows how localised heavy showers with attached winds can do 🫣

A big tree down here which fell across one of the lanes bringing down the telephone wires cutting our area off from the internet and land lines, Glad I've got 4g which I use all the time as was a lot faster connection anyway. And don't use a land line.
