4cm of fresh snow earlier this morning but most of it has thawed  in the morning sunshine. A short shower of soft hail around midday.

photos too , at relatively low levels also 

middle of day to boot ,

I would fully expect it to rain here while it hammers down with snow 10 miles down the road at a lower level

Had two heavy graupel showers here Not amounting to anything and the temperature is quite high at 7c, but cool to see, nonetheless.

 

Hoping for a dusting later this evening when the temperature drops a bit.

Some white amongst this increasingly heavy , cold rain.

Rain hail and sleet here this afternoon, this latest downpour is looking distinctly closer to all snow

Just checking amateur weather stations on wundermap and the temperatures are 2C with DPs around 0C under that blob over Shropshire. Definitely snow in many places I'd imagine.

Just plain old rain here, snow shield is on full power

Had about 15-20 mins of heavy snow here in Shrewsbury -- very wet though. Suspect the Shropshire hills will be white after this one.

Still dry here, but rain /sleet curtains over Barr Beacon are visible. 

I`m keeping an eye on the intensity of the stuff coming in from Wales

Absolutely nothing here and I am 10 miles down the road in Albrighton. Just rained. I'm over 100m asl as well! It's mental.
