Currently at 44.2mm so far this month, normal March average here (1991-2020 average) is 45.6mm so at 97% of the average for the first 12 days.

Expecting close to 80mm by the end of this week.

Much needed I reckon after a dry February and last year in general to top up any reservoirs still on the low side of things.

Many thanks to you all for the snow discussion over the past several days, ups and downs!

Well i have been here lurking in the background due to some unfortunate reasons that has took a toll upon my life.

Back in 2007 i got a Kitten lovely male ginger tom  - He passed, 30th January 2023 at 10:32pm at home with me.

His little heart was on its way out in November, when i took him to the vets but they gave me (a warning he could go at any time) And medication for him.

So thats 16 years living alone with just one friend to help me on my way - that he did to, with my Dad passing in 2016, Relationships on and off, My little fella was always there. Its ripped my heart out, getting back home and no "meawws", hopping on my lap, it could go on forever

Enjoy your life and pets while here, a bit like the snow over past days, once its gone, its gone.

Two images 11th Dec 22 Paws in the snow. And just him wondering if its going to stop raining!

Still got a bit of snow on the shaded area out back.

Again, thanks all.

Just read this, so sorry 😔 Wonderful companions.

We homed an older rescued community FIV street cat with a young gentleman living on his own just after Christmas and it has been wonderful to see them bond over the weeks since then.  Both new owner and the munchkin are now true soul mates.

Winds in Birmingham have now switched from the SW to a North westerly

Plenty of ppn around the Isle of Man

Metoffice has downgraded my snow chances to light snow at 6am now (was heavy snow earlier) and a light snow shower at 6pm.

Was up at 7:30 to see a massive snowflake fall. then nothing for 2 minutes, then a flurry of large flakes which lasted for all of 2 minutes.

Flakes were larger the anything last week.

But no snow on ground.

MIA
